Resurrection Epitaph Sarcophagus Tomb (R.E.S.T.) was inspired by Dr. William Yamamoto's inventing of
the "portable tomb".
A retired physician, Dr. Yamamoto developed the tomb to serve both as a genetic reservoir and a portable
memorial that could forever remain part of a family's estate.
R.E.S.T. was formed as an LLC in 2003, then was incorporated in March 2005,
and lastly moved to Maryland and remade to an LLC in 2006. During this time, we have been working to optimize the manufacturing and packaging of the final product,
which was introduced to the public at the Super Pet Expo in April 2005 in Chantilly, Virginia. Since then we have exhibited at the Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference
and the World of Pets Expo. 
R.E.S.T. is led by Ruth Yamamoto, company founder and CEO.
A teacher and actor by education, Ruth is forging new personal ground with R.E.S.T.
while relying on the guidance and support of friends and family.
